#Help/Advice Anyone know about multistreaming?
I heard that multi-streaming can help to increase your income. I think having viewers from more than 1 cam site at the same time would be super valuable so I am trying to figure out help to set this up. Any ideas?

I tried it but now I prefer to devote all my attention to a single site so my fans feel more engaged. If you do multi-stream, a good internet connection is essential! You can check out some services like splitcam or streamster to get more ideas about how to set it up. I heard there is a plugin for OBS to multistream but I don't know much about that. Hope this helps!

AS FAR AS MULTISTREAMING... THE HELP THAT I CAN GIVE IS THIS.. YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER YOUR INTERNET UPLOAD SPEED IS IMPORTANT. AND IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THE NUMBER OF SITES YOU HAVE OPEN... AND YOUR UPLOAD SPEED... YOUR UPLOAD SPEED GETS DIVIDED UP. AND YOU HAVE TO CUT BACK ON YOUR RESOLUTION YOU CAN BROADCAST... THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS IF YOU PAY A SERVICE THAT WILL REDIRECT YOUR BROADCAST SUCH AS https://restream.io/.... FOR EXAMPLE. THESE SERVICES YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR... IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO IT ON YOUR OWN AND I WOULD SUGGEST USING OBS AND IN OBS USE THE VIRTURAL CAM FEATURE.

You can use a tool such as manycam that allows you to split your stream towards different sites but you'll have to buy the licence which is around 70 dollars a year. I don't know if there are free tools to do it. Probably. I have not tried it yet but I am thinking to do it too. Then I would use two screens, one for each website you are streaming on so you can see the chats and not get confused (in the case you choose two cam sites. One for each site)

there are better tools then manycam... OBS or splitcam are a lot better tools... manycam requries you to pay to us the high resolution settings.. with OBS and Splitcam you do not need to pay

So if you normally hit the start stream button to broadcast then to uses OBS on other sites you would then want to hit the Start Virtual Camera button... on the 2nd site you are adding you would tell it to us OBS Virtual cam for your camera.
So for example.. if you use CB and you want to pick up MFC... if you have OBS set up where you click start streaming and it goes to CB.. then if you click on start virtual cam and then you go to MFC and the cam setting with in MFC and you set the camera to OBS virtual cam.... ... you cold also go into your browser and have it set to default to OBS virtual cam.

Hello Vickysader!
I'm Mario, moderator of the cam101.com forum.

I recommend using software that is compatible with multistreaming, there are some that are very good options, an example is STREAMSTER, which you can download from their website.

Some parameters that you should take consideration is the upload speed, since each website demands different MBPS (to have a transmission with good video quality, make sure that the sum of the MBPS of the sites where you are broadcasting is equal or lower to the total MBPS that your internet provider offers you.

In addition to this, a good webcam will help you increase the video quality, as well as the good and correct lighting of your work area.

I don't know about other sites but on Stripchat, you can have a thing called "Spy Mode".

Say you were streaming on another site, you activate spy mode and paste in the link. People on Stripchat then pay to watch you on your other site.

It's a bit voyeuristic too, which is kinda exciting.

This is quite an old post, but for anyone interested I would recommend using OBS and then downloading the free OBS plugin (info: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/multiple-rtmp-outputs-plugin.964/ and download: https://github.com/sorayuki/obs-multi-rtmp/releases/) that allows you to multistream to many sites.

I've used it for a long time now - it will work with any that accept RTMP (which most do) and for those that don't it also has a 'virtual cam' option so you can use OBS and make it look like a normal webcam.

OBS also works really well with Lovense - they have guides to help set it up. It can be a little fiddly to set up initially, but it works pretty well once that's done.

I can stream to 3 sites at once without an issue, but it can become tricky keeping track of them all! :)
